Medication management sessions focus on assessing and evaluating a patient's response to counseling or medications that may have been initiated or continued by your provider on your previous visit. The patient's most recent stressors and symptoms are assessed as well as new symptoms, stressors, side effects, drug-drug interactions, outside medications, and lab results. Patient's diagnoses and prognosis ae reviewed, the treatment plan is reveiwed, a mental status examination is performed, and safety assessment completed.
Medication management/telemedicine appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes.
Appointments are typically every 1 to 3 months depending on the type of services provided.
The rate for a medication management session is $140.
It is recommended that patients have a face-to-face appointment with their provider for every visit. However, established patients that are stable on their medicatons and do not need medication adjustments may request a telemedicine appointment.
Telemedicine appointments are usually done at the provider's discretion through secure video or telephone conferences via your computer or phone. Medications can be electroincally prescribed to your pharamcy if appropriate.
