Psychiatric Treatment Specialities

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD, or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, is an increasingly common neurodevelopmental condition. It affects thought and emotional processing and responses to the environment.

Major Depression

Depression affects an individual’s physical and mental wellness, distorting their thoughts, behavior, and mood, usually with a feeling of sadness. Major Depression, also known as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), includes additional, more severe symptoms.

PTSD, OCD, Generalized Anxiety

Anxiety on its own is a common feeling of uneasiness, distress, worry, apprehension or fear. We all experience anxiety at some point in our lives. If these feelings escalate to interfere with daily life, then, this may be a sign of an anxiety disorder.

Insomnia and Sleep Disorders

Insomnia is often defined as the inability to fall asleep, or difficulty staying asleep. Insomnia can be a symptom of another disorder (secondary insomnia), a disorder of its own (primary insomnia), or be seen independent of another presented disorder (co-morbid).

What People Are Saying

nothing but great things to say about him

“Since opening my counseling private practice, Tim Gioe has been my go-to referral source for all of my clients in need of medication management. He is knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to collaborate with. The clients who I have referred to Tim have had nothing but great things to say about him. They have commented on how nice he is, that he is easy to talk to, and have reported feeling notable improvement since beginning psychotropic medication treatment with him. I too have recognized the benefits my clients have gained from seeking medication management with Tim. It is a wonderful adjunct to the therapy I provide my clients. Tim will most certainly continue to be my go-to referral source for future clients.”
