Tim and his wife, Sarah, are the owners and founders of Crescent City Psychiatric. Timothy (Tim) is a Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with prescriptive authority Tim completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University. He worked at River Oaks Hospital from 2011 to 2014 as the nursing supervisor. While working at River Oaks, Tim obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham graduating with Magna Cum Laude Honors. In 2014, he was awarded certification as a PMHNP through the ANCC and obtained licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
Tim was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He particularly enjoys assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with ADD/ADHD, mood disorders such as Major Depression, and anxiety disorders such as PTSD, OCD, and Generlized Anxiety. After a comprehensive evaluation, he develops a treatment plan tailored to each individual’s needs with a variety of treatment modalities. Tim has extensive knowledge of psychotropic medications and is passionate about exercise, nutrition, and helping patients with interpersonal struggles. He especially enjoys working with college students, married couples, new parents, and those starting a new career. Tim currently resides in Covington with his wife and three sons. He’s a devout Saints fan and is passionate about serving the great people that live here.
Keith is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in treating mood disorders, ADHD, and substance use. He offers personalized, evidence-based care for alcohol use disorder, including naltrexone therapy. He earned his nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake College, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University. Keith’s nursing background includes extensive experience in critical care—spanning cardiovascular, medical, and neurosurgical intensive care units—as well as inpatient psychiatric care for both adult and geriatric populations. Known for his thorough and empathetic approach, he is dedicated to providing high-quality, detail-oriented mental health care.
Keith embraces a patient-centered view of mental wellness, integrating pharmacologic treatment with lifestyle modifications—such as nutrition and exercise—as essential components of healing and long-term health. He is enthusiastic about developing individualized, sustainable care plans that support both mental and physical well-being.
Outside of his clinical practice, Keith enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. He stays active through regular exercise, enjoys relaxing on beach vacations, and unwinding outdoors.
Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. She went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing degree followed by her Doctorate of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing degree from University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Following this she completed her doctoral clinicals at University Medical Center in New Orleans. Mary is board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center and has experience in medication management, psychotherapy, and initial psychiatric evaluation. She worked as an outpatient psychiatric provider at Ochsner Medical Center from 2018 to 2022.
Since January 2023 Mary has been working as the psychiatric provider for Merakey ACT in Hammond seeing individuals with severe, chronic mental illness in their community. Mary enjoys working with students, new parents, and young professionals. Her area of expertise includes diagnosing and treating ADHD, major depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and OCD. Angela is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over fourteen years of nursing experience and more than two years of mental health practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her professional background encompasses working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients across a variety of psychiatric settings, including those with severe and chronic mental illnesses.
Angela aims to foster a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable, understood, and actively engaged in their care. She works with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges.
Because mental health challenges can significantly impact daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being, seeking support is an important step toward achieving emotional balance and an improved quality of life. Angela is passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges through compassionate, patient-centered mental health care.
Her approach integrates medication management, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies tailored to each patient’s needs. She is dedicated to building long-term therapeutic relationships and empowering patients to take an active role in their treatment.
Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she received the C.A.R.E. Award — a distinction conferred upon students who demonstrate exceptional achievement in professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity, excellence, and compassion. She furthered her education by completing her Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at the University of South Alabama, where her academic achievement earned her membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Angela enjoys maintaining a healthy work-life balance through fitness activities, time at the beach, and quality moments with friends and family. She believes that prioritizing self-care and personal wellness is essential for maintaining overall mental and emotional well-being.
Melissa Stevens joined Crescent City Psychiatric in 2024 and currently serves as the Patient Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. A native of Morgan City, Melissa attended Louisiana State University and now resides in Baton Rouge.
With nearly two decades of experience working with families as a teacher, she brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to her role. Melissa is committed to making every patient interaction a positive one, ensuring their needs are met with care and understanding.
Outside of work, Melissa is happily married and the proud parent of two LSU students—Go Tigers! She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her family in the great outdoors.
Emily joined Crescent City Psychiatric in 2026 and currently serves as a Patient Coordinator, with a primary focus on care coordination and billing.
Emily is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at Louisiana State University. She is interested in understanding human behavior and helping others improve their well-being. Through her coursework, she has developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Emily plans to continue expanding her knowledge and gaining experience in the field of psychology as she works toward her future career goals.
She is passionate about learning, helping others, and making a positive impact in her community. Emily is a native of Covington and attended Archbishop Hannan High School. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Wendy joined Crescent City Psychiatric in 2026 and currently serves as a Patient Coordinator, with a primary focus on patient intake and care coordination. A graduate of Charity School of Nursing, Wendy is a practicing registered nurse with more than 20 years of diverse clinical experience.
While she has worked in multiple specialties throughout her career, the last five years have been dedicated to inpatient psychiatric nursing, where she has cared for adults and geriatric patients experiencing acute psychiatric disorders. Deeply passionate about patient advocacy, Wendy is committed to ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and valued. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), continuing her dedication to mental health advocacy and compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care.
A native of New Orleans, Wendy now enjoys living in Covington, Louisiana. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of four grown children and adores her two pups. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, visiting coffee shops, sharing a nice dinner out, and staying active at the gym.
